The state have said that they seized Th.Elaa from Villa Group which was given to the company to develop a tourist resort, not because they violated the agreement but because they lack good will.
It is not possible for anyone to know the intention of the other person. This is proved from the life of Prophet Muhammad *SAW). From the statement made by the state, it seems that they claim to know information that only Allah will know.
When tourism ministry seized the island from Villa Group, the company filed a case at the civil court asking to revert the decision of the Ministry of Tourism, the civil court ruled that the state seized the island unlawfully. The state then appealed the case at high court.
Villa Group’s lawyer Ahmed Shafeeg said that the agreement does not state that anything can be done based on the intention of the two parties and that this will bring up a huge legal issue. The lawyer also stated that, the civil court’s decision highlighted the fact that the state terminated the agreement against the termination clauses identified in the contract and also against all precedents followed in civil cases.
