CP takes part in the 85th general assembly of Interpol

Commissioner of Police Ahmed Areef has taken part in the 85th general assembly of Interpol which started in Bali today.

The assembly will go on from today till 10th of this month. The focus of the assembly would be creating a road map to prevent international crimes more efficiently than now.

Also the member countries will discuss various strategies to reduce transnational crimes using modern technology. In addition, guidelines will be set to prevent major crimes in member countries.

The general assembly is held every year among the member nations of Interpol. In this year’s assembly 830 police officers from 164 countries are taking part.
