Former President Maumoon Abdul Gayyoom have said that religion and country will always be his highest priority.
He tweeted saying this at a time, when PPM PG leader Nihaan Hussain Manik accused Maumoon of planning to take a vote of no confidence against speaker of the parliament Abdullah Maseeh. Speaking at a press conference held today
Nihaan said that usually it is MDP who leads these kinds of things but this time it is some PPM members who are behind this.
Nihaan repeated his statement saying that it will not be possible to pass a no confidence motion against the speaker. Tensions between Maumoon and President Yameen are at an all-time high these days.
