Higher education seminar in India ends
FICCI Higher education seminar for 2016 in India has ended. More than 100 professors took part in the seminar.

The seminar was organized by FICCI, an organization that tries to promote higher education in India, the government of India and some other countries. The seminar was held from 10th to 12th November in Vigyan Bhavan of New Delhi. Participants from around the world discussed how they are promoting higher education and identified the challenges.

Some participants said that based on the demand for higher education it is not possible to provide higher education in university campuses only. They said that the solution is providing online education and improving the quality of online courses.

Participants noted that the education provided cannot only be education from that nation and since now it is possible to study online, no one can make claim on specific areas of studies as their own. In addition, they noted that some online courses lack quality. Furthermore, they said that most of the time, students realize the quality of the course after they page large sums as fees and it is important to get proper information about the courses before paying.

An education fair that was held during the seminar, showed options for higher education in India, EU, Turkey and some other countries. Various medical colleges and other collages of India took part in the seminar.

Miadhu News took part in the seminar on an invitation by the organizers FICCI.
