Saudhullah Hilmy MP for North Thinadhoo constituency have said that he will not be in the way of development of Thinadhoo and if his parliament membership is a barrier to development of Thinadhoo, and if the people of Thinadhoo wants him to resign he is willing to resign immediately.
Speaking at the parliament today,Saudhullah who has his own Construction Company said that he never relied on the salary of a parliamentarian and even today he does not want to do that.
“I do not want to be in the way of services to the people. I became a parliament member to bring much needed development to Thinadhoo. It is the people who will decide if I was successful in doing that” said Saudhullah.
He said that a lot of developmental projects were carried out this year but for the next year few projects have been budget. He said that he believes that it will not be possible to carry out same number of projects every year.
He also called to facilitate ACC to investigate how some people are getting rich suddenly. He said that it is a huge problem that ACC cannot investigate such cases.
