MP Shahudhee of Hanimaadhoo constituency have said that one of the greatest development to Aasandha service is the ability to buy medicine from the islands via STO.
Speaking about the budget, in today’s parliament sessions Shahudhee said prior to the opening of STO pharmacies, islanders had to rent boats on their own and travel to islands with pharmacies which provide Aasandha service.
Shahudhee said that the government opened pharmacies in all inhabited islands and now people are free from a huge burden. In addition, he said that there are some things that his constituency needs. He highlighted the importance of making the Handimadhoo Airport international and introducing tourism to the atoll.
