MP for Guraidhoo constituency Ibrahim Rizaa have said that MDP does not have the right to talk about judiciary after almost destroying the judiciary during their administration.
Speaking at the parliament floor today, Rizaa said that Judge Abdullah Muhammad was arrested during MDP administration against all laws and it is a crime committed by the MDP government. Also, he said that MDP locked up courts when they could not influence court decisions.
Rizaa said that instead of reforming the judiciary, MDP acted this way and now they do not have the right to talk about the judiciary. He further said that, MDP never fulfilled any of their pledges to the people but this government has achieved many things desired by the people. He said that especially the achievements in the health sector and steps taken to protect the islands are notable.
