76 individuals will run as JP candidates in the upcoming local council elections

Jumhooree part (JP) has decided to give JP ticket to 76 candidates in the upcoming local council elections.

The SG of JP, Ahmed Sameer said that a lot of people requested to run as JP ticket and even now many are expressing interest. He said that the 76 people who have been finalized to offer the ticket are people whose formalities has been completed.

He said that starting today, these people will be offered the tickets. He said that once the administrative work of others who have applied are over, they will decide on giving them a ticket as well.

Sameer said that JP has been inactive for a while and they started their activities again just recently, and that it is a huge progress for the party for so many people to get involved in party activities in a short period.
