Middle eastern tour operators are saying that if Maldives opens an Islamic Resort, it will receive a lot of support from the Arab world.
They need Islamic tourism because they do not want to see naked men and women. Also, muslims want to ensure that alcohol and pork are not served in these resorts. It will be really easy to arrange such things in the Maldives.
