On the day of resurrection, Allah will not look at those who lie while doing business : Mufti Menk

Mufti Ismail Menk have said that, those who lie, cheat and deceive while doing business and those who make false promises will not be looked at by Allah on the day of resurrection.

Speaking at Ilm Talk held at Islamic Centertonight, Mufti said that those who lie to make a huge profit or those who deceive others in business to make huge profits will be severely punished by Allah in the hereafter.

“ To sell with a greater profit, some people claim that they bought a certain product at a higher price. Brothers and sisters. Do not do this. Instead of doing this just tell directly the price you are willing to sell at” said Mufti Menk.



Mufti said that the best type of business in Islam is selling products after adding a little profit margin. He said that if a high profit margin is added few people will buy and if the profit margin is less more people will buy.

Mufti Menk’s topic for tonight was the right of one muslim over the other muslim. Mufti talked in great detail about this. In addition, he said that even if you interact with a non-muslim, that person should be treated with respect. He said that Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) treated non-muslims also with respect.

Many people attended Mufti Menk’s lecture . Majority of the people were women. In addition, the first Islamic Minister of Maldives Dr.Abdul Majeed Abdul Baary also attended the lecture.
