All those who spoke at the World Travel Conference held at Bandos today, have said that there are still a lot of opportunities for tourism in Maldives.
Like all other countries, Maldives still has a lot of work that can be done to develop the tourism industry. The conference organized by MATATO, discussed on ways to further market Maldivian tourism industry.
In addition to the clear sea and white beaches, the nature of Maldives should be marketed as well. While a lot of countries are polluted, Maldivian atmosphere is free from pollution with the will of Allah. In addition, the participants noted that lots of things needed to be done to win the hearts of tourists who visit Maldives. They said that to achieve this, the industry should use modern technology.
The participants also said that even though some people run anti tourism campaigns against Maldives through foreign media, Maldives has more good things and facilities that can neutralize their work.
