International Islamic University of Islamabad has provided Islamic University of Maldives with 30 scholarships.
In a ceremony held at IUM today, the two universities signed a memorandum of understanding. Chancellor of IUM Dr.Mohammed Shaheem Ali Saeed signed the MUO on behalf of IUM while, Dr.Ahmed Yousif the President of IIUI signed on behalf of IIUI.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr.Shaheem said that IUM is working with many universities and under the agreement signed today, both universities will exchange knowledge and information.
IIUI is a world renowned Islamic university and has over 33000 students. More than 100 different courses are available at the university.
