President Yameen has said that more than 94,000 jobs will be created within this 5 year term.
Speaking at the special ceremony held on the occasion of Youth Day, President said that this government is doing a lot of work for the youth and especially many policies are being implemented to provide more job opportunities for the youth. He said that his government will be able to create more than 94,000 jobs.
President Yameen said that the jobs created by his government is a right of Maldivian boys and girls. “Those who rightly own these jobs should use this opportunity. It will not be only 94,000 jobs. More than that will be created. Our economy has the drive to do so” said the President.
President said that one of the highest priority of the government is to make sure that the youth a responsible and have the determination to go forward with the nation. He noted that the number of youth in the cabinet and various institutions are very high in Maldives.
President said that his government has the most number of youths working when compared to past governments of Maldives. “The current cabinet is the youngest cabinet this country has ever seen. We have youths leading various institutions of this country. We are able to take Maldives to a better place because of the dedicated work of these people” said the president.
The youths who got the awards tonight got their awards handed to them by President Yameen.
