Tourist arrivals to Maldives on October has increased by 11.4 percent.
According to statistics publicized by Tourism Ministry, 117,489 tourists visited Maldives in October. In the same month last year 105,498 tourists visited Maldives. Hence, there is an increase of 11.4 percent compared to last year.
Tourism Ministry is doing a lot of work to increase the number of tourists visiting Maldives. As a result number of tourists on October has increased. As per the statistics released by tourism ministry, tourists from Russia and Europe are increasing. However, the most number of tourists are still visiting from China.
