National Drug Agency have said that there are 150 recovering addicts who have completed their recovery programs and are looking for jobs.
In a ceremony held at STO this morning to sign an agreement with STO and NDA to provide job for 4 recovering addicts, official from NDA said that 264 recovering addicts have completed the program and out of them 150 are seeking jobs.
NDA said that it is important that they get some job and if they are to stay idle, it is likely that they will start using drugs again.
In the ceremony, NDA noted the assistance given to NDA by STO for their various programs. NDA said STO has donated tools for their vocational training programs at Himmafushi rehab center. Also that STO has provided some facilities and euipments for classrooms as well.
NDA thanked STO for providing various assistance to their recovery programs.
