VP of PPM and MP for Fonadhoo Abdul Raheem Abdullah have said that, the parliament will pass any legislation that the president requires, given that it does not contradict the constitution.
Speaking at a ceremony held tonight to celebrate the 3-year anniversary of President Yameen’s government Abdul Raheem said that the parliament group of PPM will amend legislation required by the president to bring development to the country. He said that these amendments will not contradict the constitution.
Abdul Raheem assured, that to implement the President’s manifesto and to bring development to the country, the parliament group will pass all the required legislation as desired by the President.
He said so far, they have not passed any unconstitutional legislation. He said that no one should undermine the PPMMDA PG group. He said that the President should not worry because the parliament will pass all laws within the boundaries set by the constitution.
Abdul Raheem asked those who do not wish to support President Yameen to remain at home. He said that there are capable people who will support President Yameen in order to develop the country. He further said that all parliament members are proud of President Yameen’s government. In addition, he said that President Yameen will win 2018 elections easily.
