Maldives Road Devolopment Corporation, MRDC has planned to complete all the projects contracted to the company by April 2017 and start new projects.
Speaking to Miadhu News, the CEO of MRDC Ibrahim Abdul Razzag Haleem said that at the moment roads of 12 islands are being developed and work of 69 futsal pitches are to be completed.
Ibrahim Razaaq said that they are planning to buy 129 equipment to the company with the 8.5 million dollars allocated to the company by the government. He said that once they receive this equipment the companies work will be moch more faster.
Ibrahim Razzaq said that they will do other works than making roads. “Government has reclaimed a lot of land in many islands. Making roads, sewage systems and building houses are things MRDC will do” said Razzaq.
Ibrahim Razzaq said that the government has given autonomy to the state companies and companies are working hard to increase their revenues. “No company will stay idle now. They wont have that chance” said Razaq. Ibrahim Razzaq said that the companies are progressing because the government is contracting these companies with various works.
