Mahatma Gandhi requested a Maldivian to hold fast on to Quran
A Maldivian met Mahatma Gandhi during his lifetime. After talking with the person, Gandhi gave that man a small parcel and asked him to hold fast on to it. And he said that, if he holds on to it, he will not go astray.

According to the person who gave this information to Miadhu News, the person who met Ghandhi was late Ahmed Kamil Didi. Ahmed Kamil Didi took the parcel to his room and opened it. And he found that it was a copy of the Quran.

This shows how world leaders have accepted the Quran. Even though they talk in different terms for political reasons, they do accept the realities of the religion of Islam.

Mahatma Gandhi was born in Gujrath state. It is prohibited to sell alcohol and open bars in that state. That is as a sign of respect to Gandhi. This shows that, that Gandhi never drank and did not encourage it.

Alcohol is prohibited in some other states as well. In some other states, also they are trying to do it.

We should believe that there is no benefit is doing anything that is prohibited by Allah.

The enemies of Islam are doing many things against Islam. They are doing many researches as well. However, none of the researches show that eating something prohibited by Allah is beneficial for the body. On the contrary it shows that, such prohibited products harm the human body.

Some people say that engaging in prohibited sexual behavior is a human right. However, these people do not want such acts to be committed upon by their children and family. Also, researches shows that such deviant sexual acts spread various diseases. Reports shows that dangerous diseases like AIDs also spread because of prohibited sexual behavior.

So all of this shows that there is no benefit in doing anything that is prohibited in Islam. We should believe that, that is why Gandhi asked Kamil Didi to remain steadfast in holding to Quran.
