Maldives Police Service has arrested people with drugs in three different operations. In these three operations police arrested a 21-year-old male, a 25-year-old male, a 23-year-old male, a 26-year-old female and a 27-year-old female.
Among them the 21-year-old man, the 25-year-old man and the 23-year-old man were arrested on 23rdNovember.
The 23-year-old man was arrested at the airport after he arrived from a UL flight. Customs suspected that he had drugs due to his behavior. They checked his luggage and found hashish oil in his bag. The hashish oil in his bag weighs 3.142 kilograms. The 25 and the 21-year-old men were arrested in a control delivery operation on 23rdNovember.
The 26-year-old woman was arrested after she came from India on 21st November. Police found 5 packets of drugs weighing 2.75 kilograms in her luggage. The 27-year-old woman was arrested on 29th October. She was arrested when she came from India on 29th October and customs found 1.032 kilograms of hashish oil from her luggage.
Drug enforcement department is investigating these cases.
