Junaid Jamsheed dies in PIA plane crash

Former Pakistani singer, Junaid Jamsheed who later became a Daee has died in a plane crash. Junaid Jamsheed is among the top 500 most influential Muslims in the world. His Facebook page has over 2.8 million supporters.

From 1980 to 2000 he was active in various Pakistani rock bands and later formed his own band. He stopped singing in 2001 and devoted his services to Islam. He said that after he stopped singing he will remain as a servant to the religion. He was very active in spreading the message of Islam in the past 15 years. Jamsheed was 52 years when he died.

Officials feared that everyone who were abroad the PIA plane has died burnt up to the extent that no body can be identified.
