Attorney General’s Office has released a set of books containing the consolidated collection of Maldivians laws.
In a ceremony held last night, Chief Justice Abdullah Saeed released the books.
Speaking at the ceremony, Attorney General Mohammed Anil said that it has been almost a decade since the collection has not been published and that this is a huge achievement. He said that these publications will be available to the public very soon.
He said that even now the AG website has all these legislations uploaded on PDF format but at the moment it is very difficult to access the information. He said that soon they will reorganize the website and make it easily accessible.
Anil said that it is very useful to be able to access all the legislations from a book and that this is something important the government has achieved.
