A Food fair has begun in Ga.Gemanafushi today. It is being held as part of the activities conducted to mark Fishermen's Day.
The fair was inaugurated by Fisheries Minister Dr.Muhammad Shainee. In the fair various products of Gemanafushi was showcased. In addition products of many cooperative societies were also presented.
The corporative society of Gemanafushi produces various fish products.
The official ceremony to mark Fishermen's day will be held tomorrow night and the President will take part in it. President is also scheduled to visit the Food fair.
