President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has departed on an official visit to North Huvadhoo Atoll, on Tuesday morning.
During this visit, the President will meet the residents of Villingilli Island. The President will also visit Gemanafushi Island and inaugurate the Mosque and the Ice Plant established in the island. Additionally, the President will be attending this year’s Fishermen’s Day function, to be held in Gemanafushi.
The President was accompanied on the visit by Minister of Tourism, Hon. Moosa Zameer and Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Ziyad.
