Leader of the Jumhooree Party, Gasim Ibrahim has said that the Jumhooree Party has the capability to nominate capable candidates for all constituencies in the upcoming Peoples’ Majlis election.
Gasim Ibrahim made this remark speaking to the media following the handover of the forms to the Elections Commission of the candidates running in the election with Jumhooree Party ticket in the upcoming Peoples’ Majlis election.
Gasim said that the current government was established from the coalition of parties and therefore he believes that going for the Majlis election together as a coalition is what is better for the nation and the people. He urged all members and well-wishers to support the candidates of Jumhooree Party and elect them for the Majlis.
Gasim went to the Elections commission to submit the forms with all of the candidates of the Jumhooree Party running in the upcoming election.
28 candidates from the Jumhooree Party will be participating in the election. While PPM contests for 49 seats, MDA will be running for at least 8 constituencies.
