A book fair has begun in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Thirty countries are taking part in this fair. There are 100 book stalls and thousands of book in the fair.
The purpose of the book fair is to give international exposure to the books and to promote culture of the participating countries.
Also, people can see books from the same country in the same place. In addition, books will be available at discount prices at the fair. A similar book fair was held in Qatar around two weeks ago.
The Prince of Qatar inaugurated that fair. This shows the priority given by Arab countries to such fairs.
