MNDF and Indian Coast Guard has started a joint surveillance operation of Maldivian exclusive economic zone.
MNDF said that Indian Coast Guard ship Samar, and MNDF Coast Guard ship Huravee will take part in the operations. The surveillance operation will be carried out till 24th of this month.
In this operation, authorities will check whether any illegal activities are going on in the EEZ of Maldives and if there are any such activities immediate action will be taken.
