Ooredoo and Gulf Craft has signed an agreement to install “ Ooredoo Locate “ a device which can track the location of the vessels using satellite on all Gulf Craft vessels built in Maldives.
In a ceremony held this morning at Ooredoo office, the CEO of Ooredoo Vikram Singh said that, with this service, the owners can track the launches real time and would not have to worry about the launches getting lost at sea.
Vikram said that based on the experiences in Maldives, they will start providing the service to other countries as well.
If boat owners want it, Gulf Craft will manage the device for the boat owners. The device will also show information about the engine of the boat as well. Hence this information will be very important information for boat owners.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Production Manager of Gulf Craft Terry Stamatakos said that signing such an agreement with an international company like Ooredoo is a huge achievement for Gulf Craft. He said that they will try their best to provide the service in the best quality.
