10 vehicles ordered by MPL has arrived : Junaid
CEO of MPL Muhammad Junaid have said that 10 vehicles ordered by MPL from a Chinese company has arrived and a high priority will be given to maintain the vehicles.

Talking to Miadhu News he said that the vehicles that arrived yesterday include 2 forklifts and 6 vehicles used in moving containers. He said that right now the staffs of MPL are working on assembling the vehicles and by early next week they will start using the vehicles.

“ MPL staffs and the suppliers are working on assembling the vehicles” said Junaid. He further said that all the vehicles the company ordered will be delivered by early February. Some of these vehicles will be taken to Hulhumale’ port as well.

He said that even though previously no importance was given on proper maintenance of vehicles, in future they will give a high priority to maintain the vehicles so that services will not be disrupted. “MPL has made a workshop in Thilafushi now. Now we are working on a mechanism to transport the vehicles there” said Junaid.

MPL has ordered vehicles worth over 140 million dollars. Previous management of MPL was planning to spend excessively large amount of money on the vehicles but under Junaid they made to reduce it by 50 percent.
