CEO of MPL, Mohammed Junaid have made the boundary wall between MPL area and Meeru Bahuru harbor, the most ‘expensive’ wall in the Maldives.
Speaking to Miadhu News, Junaid said that they are giving space on the wall for companies to put up their advertisements. “ We are leasing one block for 10,000 Rufiyaa. That is for the companies to put up their ads. Once everything is complete, we can generate 300,000 Rufiyaa from this wall” said Junaid.
He said that the money will be used for the welfare of MPL staffs. It is estimated that they can generate 3.6 million Rufiyaa annually for the welfare fund of MPL staffs via this wall. Hence this is something really beneficial for the staffs of MPL.
