MD of Fenaka Ahmed Shareef have said that, the company’s target is to establish state of the art service delivery mechanisms.
Speaking at a ceremony held today to offer employment letter to 100 people with disabilities, Shareef said that in the past the company did not have any long term goals and they were just running day to day operations.
However, he said that now they have decided to form long term plans and visions. He said that they are now making a 5-year strategic plan for the company. In addition he said that at the moment, the company do not have a solid mechanism to check inflow and outflow of cash and hence they are working to establish such a mechanism as well. Also with this system, they will be able to identify easier ways to claim back money owed to the company. He said that once the company audit is completed they will be able to do all these things.
Speaking about the newly hired staffs, he said that everyone was offered jobs that they can do and assured that there will be no workplace discrimination. He also said that it is not only the government’s responsibility to hire people with disabilities, but all private companies should play a role in it.
