Housing Minister Dr.Mohammed Muizzu have said that by April 2017 paid parking zones will be created and 4 wheeled vehicles should be parked in these zones only.
Speaking to PSM he said that, the relevant authorities will check if vehicle owners have private parking facilities and if not they should use paid parking zones. He said that these zones will be finished within the next 3-4 months.
He said that after the establishment of paid parking zones, the next step would be to create parking buildings. He said that these buildings will be utilized for other purposes as well. He said that with these projects, the problems people face in parking will be resolved.
