People of Hulhumeedhoo has hosted a dinner for Economic Minister Muhammad Saeed to show that they are with the current government. The dinner was held near Hulhumeedhoo harbor area last Sunday.
The dinner was attended by MPL CEO Muhammad Junaid, Hulhudhoo MP Muhammad Shahid and senior members of the Economic Ministry and the general public of Hulhumeedhoo. People from Hulhumeedhoo said that they always want development and they want to attain development to the island.
Speaking at the ceremony, Shahid said that the government will develop the streets of Hulhumeedhoo and also establish water and sewerage systems in the island. He further said that even though the opposition are saying that the government will not develop Addu, the government will develop and that can be seen once the projects are completed. He said that the people will thank the government for that.
