Activities that were planned to be conducted on Friday night and Saturday on the occasion Maldives embraced Islam has been postponed. Islamic Ministry announced that the activities were postponed due to bad weather.
Delayed activities include, the special Dua, hoisting of the flag, special ceremony, cleaning of the mosques and children’s evening. Islamic Ministry said that the activities will be held later.
Activities related to the day has started a week back. These activities were well received by the public.
Bad weather is being experienced all over the Maldives at the moment.
