DhiraaguDigitally Connects Remote Branches of Centre for Holy Quran
We are delighted to provide Mega Access Network solution for free of charge to the Centre for Holy Quran that would digitally connect all their remote branches in RaaAlifushi, AlifDhaalMaamigili, FaafuNilandhoo, and GnaviyaniFuvahmulak with their main branch in Male’. This initiative was taken as a part of Dhiraagu CSR program where we aim to carry out a number of outreach programs that benefit various communities across the country

Centre for Holy Quran has 4 remote branches throughout Maldives which are located in RaaAlifushi, AlifDhaalMaamigili, FaafuNilandhoo, and GnaviyaniFuvahmulak and one of the main challenges is the high cost and time involved in conducting classes in Remote Branches, especially given that the country is geographically dispersed. This solution would help CHQ to reach out to the communities and conduct classes digitally

Dhiraagu Public Relations Manager, Imjad Jaleel said, “We are extremely delighted to support the Centre for Holy Quran under our CSR Program and we hope that this initiative would help the centre to digitally conduct classes in all their remote branches throughout Maldives. We place a high importance to conduct outreach programs that are beneficial to local communities and enrich people’s lives through digital services.

As part of outreach programs we have done a number of programs this year as well. We recently donated much needed- oxygen concentrators to regional hospitals in in AlifuAlifu Atoll, AlifuDhaalu Atoll, Faafu Atoll, and Dhaalu Atoll. This year we also contributed developmental resources to the Special Education Needs Class in Laamu Atoll and contributed developmental resources to the Special Education Needs Class in Baa Atoll. We also supported the Disability Awards 2016 and committed to support a special education needs project in Fuvahmulah.
