Target is to increase JP members to 35,000 before 2017 ends : JP

Jumuhoory Party, JP has said that their target is to increase their party membership to 35,000 before this year ends.

The registrar of JP, Ahmed Saud said that the membership list at EC will have around 11 to 14 thousand members. However, he said that their own membership list has 40,000 members.

“ Our aim is to increase party members to 35,000 by the end of 2017. “ said Saud. He said that they have plans to travel across the country to get new members. He said that they will commence the travels on February.

Saud said that while they can increase valid members to 35,000 the party’s own membership will be strengthened. He said that they are also working on re-registering 3000 members who were removed from the party because they did not have finger prints.
