An intelligence report of the Indian government shows that more than 1000 people accept Islam annually in Kerelaa state of India.
A report submitted to the police chief of Kerelaa shows that from 2011 to 2015, 5793 people accepted Islam openly at various Islamic centers in the state. In addition many people are converting to Islam secretly.
The report says that among the converts 76 percent are under the age of 35. Among them 4719 people are Hindus and the rest are Christians.
All these people converted at special centers with permission to convert people to Islam. In addition, many people convert to Islam privately in front of religious scholars as well.
