Islamic University has said that they will announce 40 scholarships this year as part of their program to develop and train staffs needed for the university.
Speaking to Miadhu News, Chancellor of Islamic University Dr.Muhammad Shaheem Ali Saeed said that the university will get 40 scholarships this year and they will announce it when they get it.
Dr.Shaheem said that the scholarships awarded last night are worth more than 1.6 million Rufiyaa if only tuition fees are considered. He said that in addition, there will be many more other expenses as well.
Dr.Shaheem is doing a lot of work to develop and train capable staffs for the university. Dr.Shaheem is known to manage any institution that he manages without depending too much on the state budget and he is good at obtaining foreign assistance. He is also seen as someone who brings results.
The Hajj Corporation, Mosque Fund and Zakat fund, Waqf Building Daarul Eemaan are all successful projects conducted by Dr.Shaheem during his time as Islamic Minister.
