Managing Director of STO Ahmed Shaheer have said that STO will always take part in programs intended to help people with special needs.
“STO and STO’s subsidiary companies will assist in such programs organized by both the government and private sectors“ said Shaheer.
In a ceremony held at the health ministry this morning to provide human resources to the center for people with special needs in Guraidhoo, Shaheer said that STO has a long history of helping the center.
He said that staffs from STO often visits the center and assist the people there and donate gifts as well.
In addition, Shaheer said that STO is providing jobs for people with special needs. Furthermore, people who are going under drug rehabilitation are also provided with jobs from STO. Shaheer promised to increase such opportunities in future.
