HDC has started sale of land plots from the newly reclaimed areas of Hulhumale’. These plots will be sold from the beachfront area which is the most expensive area of Hulhumale’.
Speaking to the press the MD of HDC Muhammad Simon said that now potential buyers can chose the size of land they want to buy. The land plots should be between 2000 and 6000 square feet according to him.
The price of one square feet is 3000 Rufiyaa.
A total of 101,954 square feet of land will be sold. Simon said that they made this arrangement because people are unable to construct houses in small plots and also they listened to the feedback from the first round of sale.
