Former Home Minister Umar Naseer have said that he was shocked to see Dunya joining the government again.
Umar Naseer tweeted saying that he was shocked, but said that there is no looking backwards and asked everyone to march towards the “truth”. This maybe an indication that he has no intention of joining the government.
The opposition is criticizing Dunya’s decision to join the government while her father Maumoon Abdul Gayyoom also stated that he does not support her decision.
Few months back President Maumoon withdrew his support to the government. However, his son Ghassan Maumoon still works at the President’s office. His daughter Yumna Maumoon and Faarish Maumoon continues to criticize the government on social media.
