Qasim Shahid and Razeena Ibrahim the married couple who passed away Saturday night has been buried next to each other today.The funeral which was carried out after Zuhr prayers today, was attended by many people.
The couple died suddenly and the police has not revealed any details of their investigation. However, police said that nothing unusual could be seen from their body and it is likely that they died naturally.
Such incidents usually make world headlines. The pictures of the dead couple were not released as it is not our culture. If this happened in any other country photos would be taken and published. Such things are done to show that true love still exists in this world. Also to show the importance of being faithful.
Such an incident has not occurred in Maldives in recent history. We pray that they are granted Paradise. Ameen.
