Ghassan Bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Shabaal has been appointed as the chairman of Saudi Airline. He was appointed to the position by special decree of King Salman.
Saudi Airline is the flag carrier of Saudi Arabia and hence King Salman gives special importance to develop the airline. In this regard, the government of Saudi Arabia is undertaking a lot of work to make the airline a profitable and a sustainable venture.
Saudi Airlines is a little far behind compared to other airlines in the region such as Qatar Airways and Emirates both of which often gets international awards.
Saudi Airline has seen significant improvements since King Salman assumed throne. Saudi Airlines now has scheduled flights to Maldives as well. Even Maldivians benefit immensely because of this.
