Police questions former President Maumoon Abdul Gayyoom regarding a lost hard drive
Maldives Police Service has questioned former President Maumoon Abdul Gayyoom regarding a hard drive which was lost from PPM’s office. According to PPM the hard drive contains important information.

Aleem Abdullah Adam, the SG of PPM’s Maumoon faction, said that a team of police questioned Maumoon at his office. However, Aleem did not clarify Maumoon’s answers to the questions.

PPM has officially filed a complaint at the Police after several important items from PPM’s office went missing. Maumoon’s daughter Yumna Maumoon was summoned to the police yesterday for questioning regarding the matter. In the internal conflict in PPM, the court ordered to hand over the administration of PPM to President Yameen.

At the moment, former President Maumoon has opened his own office at the premises of former PPM’s office and he is using that office under the name “Office of the President of PPM”.
