Record number of people has taken part in the "Feshun" campaign which was launched last night. This is a campaign organized by First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim aiming to win the 2018 election by President Yameen. Compared to the gatherings of political parties held at Hulhumale before, a record number of people took part in the event.
During the event last night 260 youth joined PPM. Those who spoke at the event highlighted the development brought by President Yameen's government in the last three years. They noted that the President has development to the country at a scale never witnessed before in Maldives.
They noted that the country is in need of development, progress and prosperity. They said that to achieve these things President Yameen should be at the helm of the nation.
Maldives is witnessing mega projects which the country has never seen before. China-Maldives friendship bridge and the airport development project are such examples. In addition Maldives has strengthened relations with Islamic countries and the assistance received by islamic countries is at an all time high. Furthermore Maldives has developed strong relations with China, the biggest economy of the world. All these things clearly proves that the President is a capable leader who can attain the development desired by the people.
