It is possible to burn and destroy places of worship. It happens around the world. But what we should believe is that it is not possible to burn the faith of any human being.
Such incidents do not occur only for religious reasons. Most of these incidents are related to politics. The purpose is getting the support of the majority. If we look at the case of Baabry Masjid in India, we can see that the motives were political. At the time people speculated that it was done for a religious reason. But later investigations show that it was done during the campaign and to get more votes by Hindus.
The Masjid was burnt and damaged. But as a result, not even one Muslim left their religion. Or the number of people accepting Islam did not decrease. Last week, some monks in Sri Lanka burnt down churches in Sri Lanka. In response the Christians said that even if the churches are burnt they will pray for their god even on the streets and will never become Buddhists.
Recently a state in a European country banned praying in congregation. As a result many Muslims migrated to other states saying that they cannot be prevented from praying. In European countries where building mosques are not allowed, Muslims pray in buildings that are rented.
So all of these shows that it will not be possible to “burn” the faith of humans and they will not abandon their religion just like that.
Can burn buildings but faith cannot be burnt !
