President Yameen have said that foreign groups will always monitor the situation in Maldives closely and government will take their recommendations into consideration.
Speaking at a PPM event last night the President said that even now there is a group from the World Bank and some others in Maldives and they will assess different things in Maldives.
The President said that MDP was not able to complete their term because they failed to provide the services needed by the people. He said that hence he is trying to provide all necessary services as soon as possible.
“ When we start conducting many projects at once at a fast speed, the costs will be high. That is not because there is corruption involved in it. Since we do not have the required resources in Maldives, the costs of the projects rise” said the President.
President said that previously it was not easy for ACC to get information from the President’s office and due to that some cases were not investigated properly.
“However, there will be no such difficulty now. If they are required to give any information to ACC, they do not even have to bring it up to me now” said the President.
