Etihad Airways to increase flight to Maldives
Etihad Airways has decided to increase flights to Maldives. The airline announced yesterday that due to the increase in demand to Maldives they will have extra 4 flights per week to Maldives during the summer. They said that they will continue these flights from 1st July to September 17 of 2017.

Etihad Airways even now has 7 scheduled flights to Maldives per week. Hence with the increase there will be 11 flights per week. In addition to the current flights, the new additional flights will fly on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday.

They said that they will use A320 planes and they will have 16 business class seats and 120 economic class seats. The flights of Etihad Airways are targeted for European passengers. With these flights passengers from Gulf, Edinburgh, Jeddah, Madrid and Moscow can easily visit Maldives.

Etihad Airways said that in the past 5 years over 450,000 people travelled to Maldives via the airline. Etihad Airways started daily flights to Maldives on 1st November 2011. Etihad is among the airlines which brings in the most number of tourists to Maldives.
