Different government institutions have shared information about different services provided by the government with the media.
In an event oraganised by the Media Unit of the President’s Office, by thr name of “Gulhigen Amaan Vetteh” held at the customs building this morning, Home Minister said that the government wants to let the public know about the actions of the government. He said that however, the government will not allow anyone to spread false information and lies.
Azleen said that a few years back the streets of Male’ were unsafe but today streets have become safe. He said that this was achieved because the government worked hard to achieve this. In addition Azleen said that the GDP of the country increased to 9000 from 6000 dollars per capita because the President is able to implement his economic agenda.
The minister said that since drugs lead to other kinds of crimes, the government has invested in a state of the art body scanner to prevent smuggling of drugs into the country.
