President Yameen have said that the loans taken to develop the airport can be returned within 10 years after the development of the airport.
Speaking to the people of Mulaku, President said that it is not possible to move forward without developing the airport. He said that if he had to do things in the conventional way it will take 30 years to develop the airport and it cannot be done that way now.
“last year alone 22 resorts were completed. New resorts will open the year. We cannot develop tourism by keeping tourists in ques at the airport for 4-5 hours” said the President.
President said that with the development of the airport several thousand jobs will be created. “ One of the responsibility of the government is to provide people with jobs. No other government has provided people with jobs as much as this government has done. Government will provide opportunities. It is up to the people to use it and make money” said the President.
He said that with each service that is introduced there should be a price that should be paid. He said that the people should go out and work to get money to pay this price.
