India is able to progress because they uphold the law : Akhilesh Mishra
Indian Highcomissioner to Maldives H.E Akhilesh Mishra have said that India is the fastest developing nation in the world because laws are upheld in India. He also called out Indians to obey laws wherever they might be in the world.
During a flag hoisting ceremony held at the Embassy of India in Maldives on the occasion of the 68th Republic Day of India, the Ambassador said that when they got independence from the British in 1947 the state of the country was really fragile. He said that at the time the population of India was around 350 million and today it has increased to 1.3 billion.
He noted that even though the population has increased by more than 3 folds, Indian could progress constantly because they always uphold the laws and follows the constitution.
In his speech, he noted several achievements of India and also talked about India’s approach towards further development.
